The National Democratic (NDC) Youth Wing of the Ayawaso East Constituency in the Greater Accra Region, has out-doored its Youth Steering Committee to help execute its strategy run up to election 2020.
A 35-member youth committee is expected to help enhance the efforts of the branch executives to mobilize the youth front across the constituency in the quest to winning power in 2020.
Addressing the inauguration at Nima, the Deputy National Organizer, Kobby Balon has charged members of the committee to give out their best towards victory for the party in 2020.
He said so far, the acceptance of the selected members to serve on the committee shows that the youth front of the party is poised to deliver victory for the NDC come the 2020 general elections.
To him, victory 2020 lies in the hands of the youth who form majority of the Ghana’s population.
On her party, Hajia Mariam Aminu, the Constituency Youth Organizer charged the committee for close collaboration with the branches.
According to her, though the Ayawaso East seat is safe for the NDC, they would not relent on their efforts to increase the already huge votes gap NDC has against any party in the constituency.
Thomas Mustapha Nii Ashong, Greater Accra Regional Youth Organizer, was optimistic that with determination and hard work the party will win the next general elections.
